New Cuvex BIT now in pre-order
Seed Phrasse Storage Device with Biometric Security
Keeping the same security robustness, now with new functionalities
We are delighted to announce that our second model is now live. We have spent a lot of effort listening to our customers
and thinking carefully about how to implement all possible improvements to our initial model.
As a result of this effort, we present to you Cuvex BIT (Biometrics Identity Technology), a cold storage device that introduces
biometric security and cryptographic access control for secure data management.
Access control to Multi-Signature and Single-Signaturecryptograms through fingerprint recognition
We have implemented an additional layer for accessing encrypted secrets: the biometrics of the rightful owner.
Cuvex BIT, as a secure cryptographic device, has a state-of-the-art biometric sensor, capable of creating the fingerprint template of authorized users, essential for securely accessing cryptograms.
Now, Multiple Signature and Single Signature users can choose to add, in addition to the password used for encryption, a biometric access control.
This functionality allows a single password to be used for encryption, even if the presence of several people is required for decryption.
The system will request, in addition to the password, each of the fingerprints of the persons required to decrypt and display the encrypted secret.
Firmware update process via USB-C cable from our Cuvex App for Smartphones.
We have eliminated the Bluetooth module installed in hardware and replaced it with a firmware update via USB-C, which allows for a faster and more secure installation, responding to our customers' requests for a crypto cold storage device.
Reasons for upgrading via USB-C:
- Better installation time and firmware upgrade.
- To offer our customers what they have requested.
